In partnership with churches, associations, your state convention, and Send Relief, the Serve Tour seeks to inspire you to engage in compassion ministry through participation in ministry projects in Monroe. Our plan is to find ways to meet needs and bless churches, schools, organizations, and compassion ministry non-profits. In addition, we want to strategically help local revitalized churches and bless bi-vocational pastors by providing assistance.
We want to make it easy to bring people together in Jesus’ name to make a difference.
Our goal is for the Serve Tour to become a unifying opportunity for Southern Baptists to demonstrate to a watching city who we are and more importantly, who our Savior is. As believers swarm the city, we will provide pre-trip training guides and a 30-day prayer guide to help you take your next step on missions.

You will check in at directly at the project site at 5:00pm at ULM BCM (1005 University Ave, Monroe, LA 71201) and will serve until approximately 9:00pm. Your project leader will give you instructions after check in.
Project details:
Partnering with the University of Louisiana–Monroe Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM), volunteers will connect with and care for college students during Week of Welcome at the start of the Fall semester. This event serves as a key outreach opportunity for both new and returning students, with local Baptist churches joining to connect with students and introduce them to campus ministry opportunities. The event will include a beach-themed block party hosted on Thursday night as part of the official ULM Week of Welcome schedule.
Volunteers will help create a welcoming environment where students can build relationships, find community, and be introduced to the BCM and local churches. Volunteers will help with preparing and distributing food, facilitating games and activities, and supporting efforts to connect students with one another and with campus ministry leaders. This event serves as the largest outreach of the year and helps establish meaningful connections as students begin the new school year.
