Note: this is a great opportunity for those in particular who have a love for basketball.
On this trip, the mission team will partner with Graffiti 2 in hosting their annual 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament. Taking place Father’s Day weekend, this 3-on-3 tournament creates a safe, competitive environment in which Graffiti 2 hopes to strengthen existing relationships and
build new relationships with young, adult men in our neighborhood. This population often struggles with idleness, aggression, and lack of healthy relationships, all of which the 3-on-3 event hopes to address by providing a positive, competitive outlet for young men, strengthening relationships, and sharing the gospel. The event itself includes tournament-style play for teams of four, during which the gospel is presented in a meaningful, relevant manner, and participants are provided opportunities to talk and pray with counselors, and surveyors, and to play basketball within the tournament. This is a great opportunity for those in particular who have a love for basketball.
