In partnership with churches, associations, your state convention, and SEND Relief, the Serve Tour seeks to inspire you to engage in compassion ministry through participation in ministry projects in Miami, FL. Our plan is to find ways to meet needs and bless churches, schools, local governments, and compassion ministry non-profits. In addition, we want to strategically help local revitalized churches and bless bi-vocational pastors by providing assistance.
We want to make it easy to bring people together in Jesus’ name to make a difference.
Our goal is for the Serve Tour to become a unifying opportunity for Southern Baptists to demonstrate to a watching city who we are and more importantly, who our Savior is. As believers swarm the city, we will provide pre-trip training guides and a 30-day prayer guide to help you take your next step on missions.
What will you do?
You will begin each day of Serve Tour at the Christ Fellowship – Downtown hub. The address is 500 NE 1st Ave, Miami, FL 33132. Your project leader will give you instructions each morning of the Serve Tour.
Project details:
Lighthouse Church, a Southern Baptist church plant serving Miami Beach for 21 years, is dedicated to making Jesus known and loved in South Beach by meeting the holistic needs of its diverse community.
The event will offer essential services through partners such as Caring for Miami’s Mobile Dental Unit, Mobile Pantry, and the Closet of Living Hope mobile clothing ministry, and will be serving food for those in attendance.
Volunteers will assist with event setup, distribution of food and resources, greeting and welcoming, and engaging the community with care and encouragement. This project will help Lighthouse Church extend practical help and gospel hope to the people of South Beach.
