Serve Tour - Miami, FL

H1 - Local School Family Fun Day (Sat)

2/7/2026 — 2/7/2026

In partnership with churches, associations, your state convention, and SEND Relief, the Serve Tour seeks to inspire you to engage in compassion ministry through participation in ministry projects in Miami, FL. Our plan is to find ways to meet needs and bless churches, schools, local governments, and compassion ministry non-profits. In addition, we want to strategically help local revitalized churches and bless bi-vocational pastors by providing assistance.

We want to make it easy to bring people together in Jesus’ name to make a difference.

Our goal is for the Serve Tour to become a unifying opportunity for Southern Baptists to demonstrate to a watching city who we are and more importantly, who our Savior is. As believers swarm the city, we will provide pre-trip training guides and a 30-day prayer guide to help you take your next step on missions.

What will you do?

You will begin each day of Serve Tour at the First Baptist Homestead hub. The address is 29050 SW 177th Ave, Homestead, FL 33030. Your project leader will give you instructions each morning of the Serve Tour.

Project details:

Village Church, a vibrant six-year-old congregation with a strong heart for outreach has an existing relationship with Cutler Bay Middle School and regularly serves the staff in tangible ways. Village Church will host a free Family Day for the teachers, parents, and students of Cutler Bay Middle School. Held on the school grounds, this event will feature free food, fun activities, bouncy inflatables, and an inviting atmosphere designed to bless and encourage the school community.

Volunteers will assist with event setup, serving meals, helping run activities and inflatables, welcoming families, and engaging attendees in warm conversation. Volunteers will also have opportunities to build meaningful connections, share the hope of the gospel, and invite families and teachers to upcoming Sunday services.

This project offers a joyful and impactful way to support a local school, strengthen community relationships, and demonstrate Christ’s love in a tangible and family-friendly environment.
