Serve Tour - Miami, FL

R7 - One More Child Playground (Fri-Sat)

2/6/2026 — 2/7/2026

In partnership with churches, associations, your state convention, and SEND Relief, the Serve Tour seeks to inspire you to engage in compassion ministry through participation in ministry projects in Miami, FL. Our plan is to find ways to meet needs and bless churches, schools, local governments, and compassion ministry non-profits. In addition, we want to strategically help local revitalized churches and bless bi-vocational pastors by providing assistance.

We want to make it easy to bring people together in Jesus’ name to make a difference.

Our goal is for the Serve Tour to become a unifying opportunity for Southern Baptists to demonstrate to a watching city who we are and more importantly, who our Savior is. As believers swarm the city, we will provide pre-trip training guides and a 30-day prayer guide to help you take your next step on missions.

What will you do?

You will begin each day of Serve Tour at the Riverside Baptist Church hub. The address is 10775 SW 104 Street, Miami, Florida 33176. Your project leader will give you instructions each morning of the Serve Tour.

Project details:

One More Child exists to bring Christ-centered love and support to vulnerable children and struggling families across the community. On the Miami campus, eight single mothers and their thirteen children are currently participating in a yearlong residential program designed to help them rebuild their lives with stability, dignity, and hope. As these mothers pursue mentoring, financial growth, educational opportunities, and spiritual renewal, their children need a safe and joyful space where they can simply play and thrive.

The campus playground has reached the end of its useful life and is ready to be replaced with a new, safe, and vibrant play area. A refreshed playground will provide the children with a place to run, laugh, and enjoy a healthy childhood while their mothers continue their journey toward long-term transformation.

Volunteers will assist with building the new playground structure, installing safe flooring underneath, painting, and completing other light construction or beautification tasks as needed.

By contributing to this project, volunteers will help create a space where children feel loved and cared for and where mothers gain one more reason to believe that their future can be beautiful.
