In partnership with churches, associations, your state convention, and SEND Relief, the Serve Tour seeks to inspire you to engage in compassion ministry through participation in ministry projects in Miami, FL. Our plan is to find ways to meet needs and bless churches, schools, local governments, and compassion ministry non-profits. In addition, we want to strategically help local revitalized churches and bless bi-vocational pastors by providing assistance.
We want to make it easy to bring people together in Jesus’ name to make a difference.
Our goal is for the Serve Tour to become a unifying opportunity for Southern Baptists to demonstrate to a watching city who we are and more importantly, who our Savior is. As believers swarm the city, we will provide pre-trip training guides and a 30-day prayer guide to help you take your next step on missions.
What will you do?
You will check in directly at the BCM House at 11:00AM and will serve until approximately 3:00PM. The address is 1200 Stanford Drive, Coral Gabels, FL 33246.
Project details:
The Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM) at University of Miami is transforming lives and has experienced significant growth in the last few years! The BCM will host a free lunch on campus to welcome students and build new relationships. This event will provide a warm, friendly opportunity to meet them, begin conversations, and introduce them to a community where they can explore faith and grow spiritually.
Volunteers will assist with preparing and serving lunch, greeting students, creating a welcoming environment, and engaging in conversations that build trust and open doors for gospel-centered connections. By helping host this event, volunteers will play a meaningful role in supporting campus ministry and reaching students with the hope of Christ.
