Serve Tour - Miami, FL

CF10 - Church Planter Driveway Renewal (Fri-Sat)

2/6/2026 — 2/7/2026

In partnership with churches, associations, your state convention, and SEND Relief, the Serve Tour seeks to inspire you to engage in compassion ministry through participation in ministry projects in Miami, FL. Our plan is to find ways to meet needs and bless churches, schools, local governments, and compassion ministry non-profits. In addition, we want to strategically help local revitalized churches and bless bi-vocational pastors by providing assistance.

We want to make it easy to bring people together in Jesus’ name to make a difference.

Our goal is for the Serve Tour to become a unifying opportunity for Southern Baptists to demonstrate to a watching city who we are and more importantly, who our Savior is. As believers swarm the city, we will provide pre-trip training guides and a 30-day prayer guide to help you take your next step on missions.

What will you do?

You will begin each day of Serve Tour at the Christ Fellowship – Downtown hub. The address is 500 NE 1st Ave, Miami, FL 33132. Your project leader will give you instructions each morning of the Serve Tour.

Project details:

Miami City Church is a growing Hispanic church plant that meets on the campus of Coral Gables Baptist Church, but much of its ministry throughout the week takes place at the pastor’s home. Because this space regularly hosts outreach events, fellowship gatherings, and evangelistic activities, the parking area has become an essential part of the church’s ministry footprint.

To better serve guests and create a safer, more welcoming environment, volunteers will assist with a full parking lot revitalization at the pastor’s residence. The project includes repaving the worn and uneven surface, redesigning the layout to maximize parking capacity, painting clear and accessible parking lines, and enhancing the area with improved lighting and simple landscaping elements. By restoring this space, volunteers will help strengthen a vital hub of ministry, hospitality, and community connection for Miami City Church.
