In partnership with churches, associations, your state convention, and SEND Relief, the Serve Tour seeks to inspire you to engage in compassion ministry through participation in ministry projects in Miami, FL. Our plan is to find ways to meet needs and bless churches, schools, local governments, and compassion ministry non-profits. In addition, we want to strategically help local revitalized churches and bless bi-vocational pastors by providing assistance.
We want to make it easy to bring people together in Jesus’ name to make a difference.
Our goal is for the Serve Tour to become a unifying opportunity for Southern Baptists to demonstrate to a watching city who we are and more importantly, who our Savior is. As believers swarm the city, we will provide pre-trip training guides and a 30-day prayer guide to help you take your next step on missions.
What will you do?
You will begin each day of Serve Tour at the Christ Fellowship – Downtown hub. The address is 500 NE 1st Ave, Miami, FL 33132. Your project leader will give you instructions each morning of the Serve Tour.
Project details:
Caring for Miami, the nonprofit missional arm of Christ Fellowship Church, serves under-resourced students across Miami by providing weekend meals to help fight food insecurity. Currently partnering with 28 schools and supporting around 780 children each week, the need continues to grow, along with the opportunity to show Christ’s love in a tangible way.
Volunteers will come together for a large-scale meal-packing event, assembling 3,000–4,000 meals, enough to feed students for an entire month. This hands-on project is simple, family-friendly, and deeply impactful. Every bag packed helps ensure a child has reliable food over the weekend and feels seen, supported, and cared for.
