Serve Tour - Miami, FL

CF2 - Seafarers Ministry Beautification (Fri)

2/6/2026 — 2/6/2026

In partnership with churches, associations, your state convention, and SEND Relief, the Serve Tour seeks to inspire you to engage in compassion ministry through participation in ministry projects in Miami, FL. Our plan is to find ways to meet needs and bless churches, schools, local governments, and compassion ministry non-profits. In addition, we want to strategically help local revitalized churches and bless bi-vocational pastors by providing assistance.

We want to make it easy to bring people together in Jesus’ name to make a difference.

Our goal is for the Serve Tour to become a unifying opportunity for Southern Baptists to demonstrate to a watching city who we are and more importantly, who our Savior is. As believers swarm the city, we will provide pre-trip training guides and a 30-day prayer guide to help you take your next step on missions.

What will you do?

You will begin each day of Serve Tour at the Christ Fellowship – Downtown hub. The address is 500 NE 1st Ave, Miami, FL 33132. Your project leader will give you instructions each morning of the Serve Tour.

Project details:

Volunteers will partner with the International Seafarers Ministry at PortMiami, the “Cruise Capital of the World,” where millions of crew members from around the globe arrive each year. Many seafarers spend most of the year away from home, often facing loneliness, stress, and limited support. This ministry serves as a welcoming space where they can rest, connect with others, and experience the hope of Christ. Many seafarers find hope in Christ. When they do, they become instant missionaries on the ship and when they return home.

Volunteers will serve this ministry by completing light work around their facility to help create a welcoming environment. Volunteers will complete maintenance work in the office and clean up surrounding areas including pressure washing, landscaping, and painting handrails.
