In partnership with churches, associations, your state convention, and SEND Relief, the Serve Tour seeks to inspire you to engage in compassion ministry through participation in ministry projects in Miami, FL. Our plan is to find ways to meet needs and bless churches, schools, local governments, and compassion ministry non-profits. In addition, we want to strategically help local revitalized churches and bless bi-vocational pastors by providing assistance.
We want to make it easy to bring people together in Jesus’ name to make a difference.
Our goal is for the Serve Tour to become a unifying opportunity for Southern Baptists to demonstrate to a watching city who we are and more importantly, who our Savior is. As believers swarm the city, we will provide pre-trip training guides and a 30-day prayer guide to help you take your next step on missions.
What will you do?
You will begin each day of Serve Tour at the Estrella De Belen hub. The address is 510 E 41st St, Hialeah, FL 33013. Your project leader will give you instructions each morning of the Serve Tour.
Project details:
Northwest Baptist Church’s Fellowship Center is a vital part of the church’s Hospitality Ministry, serving as a multipurpose facility that supports outreach initiatives, community events, special gatherings, and repasses for grieving families. To strengthen the church’s ability to serve the community, the Fellowship Center is in need of improved organization and updated storage areas.
This project will focus on renovating and reorganizing four large storage rooms to create a more efficient, orderly, and hospitable environment. Volunteers will assist with painting the rooms, installing new flooring, adding modern shelving, and enhancing lighting to make the spaces safer and more functional.
By helping refresh these storage areas, volunteers will significantly improve the church’s capacity to host community events, care for families, and steward ministry resources well, allowing Northwest Baptist Church to continue serving with kindness, dignity, and love.
