In partnership with churches, associations, your state convention, and SEND Relief, the Serve Tour seeks to inspire you to engage in compassion ministry through participation in ministry projects in Miami, FL. Our plan is to find ways to meet needs and bless churches, schools, local governments, and compassion ministry non-profits. In addition, we want to strategically help local revitalized churches and bless bi-vocational pastors by providing assistance.
We want to make it easy to bring people together in Jesus’ name to make a difference.
Our goal is for the Serve Tour to become a unifying opportunity for Southern Baptists to demonstrate to a watching city who we are and more importantly, who our Savior is. As believers swarm the city, we will provide pre-trip training guides and a 30-day prayer guide to help you take your next step on missions.
What will you do?
You will begin each day of Serve Tour at the Estrella De Belen hub. The address is 510 E 41st St, Hialeah, FL 33013. Your project leader will give you instructions each morning of the Serve Tour.
Project details:
Parkway Baptist Church, a local Jamaican congregation, is grateful for opportunities that strengthen relationships between local churches and their surrounding communities. As part of this mission, the church hopes to revitalize its WEE Care Daycare Center, a ministry that has served families for nearly 50 years. The daycare has been a trusted place for children to learn, grow, and experience care, but after decades of use, the facility is ready for important updates.
This project will focus on refreshing and improving the learning environment so children can thrive in a clean, bright, and engaging space. Volunteers will assist with painting interior walls, assembling or replacing tables and chairs, and installing shelves for books and learning materials.
By helping refurbish the WEE Care Daycare Center, volunteers will bless both Parkway Baptist Church and the many families who rely on this long-standing community ministry, creating a renewed environment where children feel welcomed, loved, and ready to learn.
