In partnership with churches, associations, your state convention, and SEND Relief, the Serve Tour seeks to inspire you to engage in compassion ministry through participation in ministry projects in Miami, FL. Our plan is to find ways to meet needs and bless churches, schools, local governments, and compassion ministry non-profits. In addition, we want to strategically help local revitalized churches and bless bi-vocational pastors by providing assistance.
We want to make it easy to bring people together in Jesus’ name to make a difference.
Our goal is for the Serve Tour to become a unifying opportunity for Southern Baptists to demonstrate to a watching city who we are and more importantly, who our Savior is. As believers swarm the city, we will provide pre-trip training guides and a 30-day prayer guide to help you take your next step on missions.
What will you do?
You will begin each day of Serve Tour at the Estrella De Belen hub. The address is 510 E 41st St, Hialeah, FL 33013. Your project leader will give you instructions each morning of the Serve Tour.
Project details:
Northside Baptist Church desires to reach the Miami Springs community with the gospel by pointing residents to Christ and connecting them with a local church. The church’s goal is to engage neighbors where they are, at their homes, in local parks, and throughout the community, through meaningful gospel conversations and the distribution of flyers and tracts that direct people to Jesus and to a church family committed to faithful biblical teaching.
To help make their presence known, Northside Baptist Church will equip volunteers with church-logo t-shirts, flyers, and small gift bags that include items such as a fridge magnet calendar and branded pens as a simple expression of care.
Volunteers will assist by walking the neighborhood, distributing materials, initiating friendly conversations, praying with residents who express a need, and warmly inviting the community to connect with Northside Baptist Church. Through this outreach, volunteers will help the church build relationships, share the hope of Christ, and shine a faithful gospel witness throughout Miami Springs.
