Serve Tour - Miami, FL

H9 - Miami Dade College Homestead Outreach (Fri)

2/6/2026 — 2/6/2026

In partnership with churches, associations, your state convention, and SEND Relief, the Serve Tour seeks to inspire you to engage in compassion ministry through participation in ministry projects in Miami, FL. Our plan is to find ways to meet needs and bless churches, schools, local governments, and compassion ministry non-profits. In addition, we want to strategically help local revitalized churches and bless bi-vocational pastors by providing assistance.

We want to make it easy to bring people together in Jesus’ name to make a difference.

Our goal is for the Serve Tour to become a unifying opportunity for Southern Baptists to demonstrate to a watching city who we are and more importantly, who our Savior is. As believers swarm the city, we will provide pre-trip training guides and a 30-day prayer guide to help you take your next step on missions.

What will you do?

You will begin each day of Serve Tour at the First Baptist Homestead hub. The address is 29050 SW 177th Ave, Homestead, FL 33030. Your project leader will give you instructions each morning of the Serve Tour.

Project details:

First Baptist Church is hosting a tailgate-style outreach at Miami Dade College’s Homestead campus to create a warm, inviting environment where students can experience genuine Christian hospitality. This event provides an opportunity to share the gospel of Jesus Christ in a practical and approachable way as students gather to enjoy free food, connect with volunteers, and build new relationships.

Volunteers will assist with setting up the tailgate area, serving food, welcoming students, and engaging in friendly conversation. As opportunities arise, volunteers will offer prayer and share the hope of the gospel with those who express interest. Through simple acts of kindness and presence, volunteers will help students feel seen, valued, and invited into a community of faith.

This outreach is a meaningful way to bless the Miami Dade College Homestead campus and build bridges that open the door for ongoing spiritual conversations and ministry.
