In partnership with churches, associations, your state convention, and SEND Relief, the Serve Tour seeks to inspire you to engage in compassion ministry through participation in ministry projects in Fort Collins. Our plan is to find ways to meet needs and bless churches, schools, local governments, and compassion ministry non-profits. In addition, we want to strategically help local revitalized churches and bless bi-vocational pastors by providing assistance.
We want to make it easy to bring people together in Jesus’ name to make a difference.
Our goal is for the Serve Tour to become a unifying opportunity for Southern Baptists to demonstrate to a watching city who we are and more importantly, who our Savior is. As believers swarm the city, we will provide pre-trip training guides and a 30-day prayer guide to help you take your next step on missions.
What will you do?
You will begin each day of Serve Tour at the CITY PARK CHURCH hub. The address is 1725 W Mulberry St, Fort Collins, CO 80521. Your project leader will give you instructions each morning of the Serve Tour.
Project details:
Volunteers will help a young mother build a privacy fence at her newly purchased home—a crucial step in creating a safe and stable environment for her and her three-year-old son. After moving 55 times in 31 years, she is seeking to give her child something she never had: a secure place to grow and thrive. The 276-foot fence will offer privacy, peace of mind, and a tangible reminder of God's provision. This opportunity comes after promises of help fell through and a recent job layoff added more strain. Volunteers will serve by constructing the fence and encouraging this family as they begin a new chapter. Your efforts will be a visible expression of God’s love and faithfulness.
