In partnership with churches, associations, your state convention, and SEND Relief, the Serve Tour seeks to inspire you to engage in compassion ministry through participation in ministry projects in Fort Collins. Our plan is to find ways to meet needs and bless churches, schools, local governments, and compassion ministry non-profits. In addition, we want to strategically help local revitalized churches and bless bi-vocational pastors by providing assistance.
We want to make it easy to bring people together in Jesus’ name to make a difference.
Our goal is for the Serve Tour to become a unifying opportunity for Southern Baptists to demonstrate to a watching city who we are and more importantly, who our Savior is. As believers swarm the city, we will provide pre-trip training guides and a 30-day prayer guide to help you take your next step on missions.
What will you do?
You will begin each day of Serve Tour at the CITY PARK CHURCH hub. The address is 1725 W Mulberry St, Fort Collins, CO 80521. Your project leader will give you instructions each morning of the Serve Tour.
Project details:
Fort Collins Rescue Mission is changing lives in the name of Christ by meeting people at their physical and spiritual points of need with the goal of returning them to society as productive, self-sufficient citizens.
Volunteers will serve by improving the exterior of this local ministry facility. Volunteers will power wash the courtyard and parking lot and repaint the parking lines, spread gravel, and power wash and repaint the building’s exterior. These efforts will enhance the safety, appearance, and hospitality of the space while creating a clean and welcoming environment for all who visit. This is a great opportunity to bless a ministry with much-needed support.
All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
