Monday October 24th- the Ministry Center will be open for an “Inside Prayer Walk” with Kevin and Karnard from 12pm-1pm. There will be prayer guides and ways you can pray specifically over different areas in our Ministry Center, and for the people who will serve and be served in those areas.
Tuesday October 25th- the Ministry Center will be open from 9am-12pm for volunteers to come help us with demo and clean-up
Wednesday October 26th- 1) the Ministry Center will be open for an “Inside Prayer Walk”, with Director Shun Abram, from 12pm-1pm. There will be prayer guides and ways you can pray specifically over different areas in our Ministry Center, and for the people who will serve and be served in those areas. 2) there will be Home Fire Campaign Training happening from 5pm-6pm in partnership with The Dwelling Place Church. This is open to anyone interested in learning about the HFC outreach and how to do this in their own communities. This initiative will teach volunteers about engaging neighbors to see if they have smoke detectors in their homes and advising on fire safety. Volunteers will be given the tools to install the detectors in the homes of their neighbors, and learn to engage in a Gospel conversation if the opportunity presents itself.
Thursday October 27th-from 11am-1pm we will have an equip lunch where attendees will learn an area of Compassion Ministry that can be applied in the community of their church. Lunch will be provided.
Saturday October 29th- from 9am-12pm volunteers can help The Dwelling Place Church with their monthly Food Bank Distribution. This is led by Pastor Leon Jones from the Dwelling Place Church. Email abram@midsouthbaptist.com to sign up for this event. 7 volunteers max for this event.
