Valdosta

Valdosta Mission Trip

7/22/2023 — 7/28/2023

In 2019, 15,000 children entered the foster care system in Georgia. With more than a decade of service in the area, the Valdosta ministry center prioritizes children in crisis by training churches and parents in best practices for the foster care journey. Whether it’s through monthly mentorship camps, church training, or trauma therapy, the Valdosta center’s goal is to decrease the number of children in foster care while increasing the number of churches that are supporting foster families.

It is in this time of desperate need that you have the greatest opportunity to give practical assistance, make personal connections, and share the gospel.

What will you do:

Teams will come to set up, decorate, and take part in a Boys foster care camp (ages 3rd-6th Grade). Females may also serve. Males can lead small groups, teach, lead other activities, prepare and serve food, lead music, and interact with campers. Females may serve by preparing and serving food, interacting with campers, leading music, and other activities.

Next steps:

  1. Register yourself and your group.
  2. Pay a deposit to confirm your reservation.
  3. Send Invites to team members to register under your group
  4. Submit final payment (30 days before arrival)

Once you are registered, you will receive a series of emails with details regarding your event.  We will equip you with the information you need to make your experience meaningful.
