Denver is a city known for breathtaking scenery, awe inspiring mountains, a plethora of open spaces, and over 300 days of sunshine that attracts individuals from all over seeking the outdoor lifestyle.
You will also have time for a “free” afternoon during the week to allow you to explore Denver and Colorado on your own. Some of the local attractions are: Pike’s Peak; Train rides; Botanical Gardens; Downtown Denver/16th Street Mall/REI’s Flagship Store; Georgetown a local mining town or any of the many mountain towns like Estes Park or Breckenridge that are within easy driving distance.
What will you do?
Your mission experience will include working alongside a collaborative of established and emerging church planters in the 33-city area that makes up Denver metro area, and also well-established churches. You will also be working with the new Send Relief ministry center that is serving the underserved in the city. This work will include opportunities to assist with mercy and compassion projects as well as outreach opportunities into new communities where church plants are being established.
Trip cost: $240 per volunteer (housing and transportation are not included)
