Appalachia Mission Trip

Appalachia may have beautiful misty mountains and miles of wooded trails, but there is an unspoken side to this region. With unemployment rates higher than anywhere in the USA, issues relating to hunger, low literacy rates, and a recent opioid crisis that has caused more drug overdoses than in the rest of the USA, the need to minister to this impoverished area is evident.

Send Relief established a ministry center with a desire to give people an opportunity to share the gospel. Teams of volunteers assist local churches in meeting the needs in their community - showing mercy and compassion through hands-on engagement.

It is in this time of desperate need that you have the greatest opportunity to give practical assistance, make personal connections, and share the gospel.

What will you do: 

Projects will include various forms of community engagement while partnering with local churches in the area.

Next steps: 

1. Register yourself and your group
2. Pay a deposit to confirm your reservation
3. Group leaders only: send invitations to group members to join your team
4. Submit payments according to the schedule on your dashboard

Once you are registered, you will receive a series of emails with details regarding your event.  We will equip you with the information you need to make your experience meaningful.
