In 2019, 15,000 children entered the foster care system in Georgia. With more than a decade of service in the area, the Valdosta ministry center prioritizes children in crisis by training churches and parents in best practices for the foster care journey. Whether it’s through monthly mentorship camps, church trainings or trauma therapy, the Valdosta center’s goal is to decrease the number of children in foster care while increasing the number of churches that are supporting foster families.

During the week there is an ESL class that English speakers are needed to help with conversations with people from all around the world. No Spanish or other foreign language is required to help. There are also foster families in the area that need repairs around their homes (paint, repair fences, cut grass, etc.).
